EyeCheck is a resource designed to support health science students and trainees as they navigate the ophthalmology intake process, with a particular focus on low-resource Spanish-speaking clinics.

• History: This section addresses essential questions to ask patients concerning their condition, encompassing the chief complaint, history of present illness, family history, and social history. Users can switch between English and Spanish instructions to mitigate any language barriers.
• Exam: EyeCheck provides a systematic approach to conducting eye exams. It includes guidance on key components such as gross inspection, visual acuity assessment, visual fields testing, extraocular movement evaluations, and pupil reactivity checks. The application also features Snellen charts for visual acuity measurements and a flashlight tool for pupil assessments. Spanish instructions are embedded to facilitate effective interactions with Spanish-speaking patients during examinations.
• Pharmacy: This section details various eye drops along with their appropriate uses, including dilation, numbing, steroid administration, and glaucoma management.
• Glossary: A glossary is provided that defines common ophthalmology conditions and offers their Spanish translations for ease of understanding.

It is important to note that EyeCheck does not replace the services of a certified Spanish translator and is intended for usage under the supervision of a board-certified ophthalmologist. The application is not designed for patient use and should not be employed for diagnosing, treating, or curing any diseases.
